Fetal Medicine & Obstetric Ultrasound Courses in Hyderabad

Established in 1998, the Fetal Medicine Unit at Fernandez Hospital was the first in United Andhra Pradesh to perform intrauterine fetal blood transfusions for Rh isoimmunised pregnancies. Since then, it has grown into a comprehensive centre for the diagnosis and management of fetal conditions.

The department offers a wide range of screening, diagnostic, and therapeutic services for all pregnant women, with a particular focus on those with a history of fetal anomalies or complications in their current pregnancy. The team works closely with the antenatal, genetics, and neonatology departments to ensure coordinated, multidisciplinary care.
