Dr Hari Kishan is a Visiting Consultant Physician at Fernandez with over two decades of experience in the field. He completed his MBBS and MD in Internal Medicine from the Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore. He also holds a DNB in Internal Medicine and a Certificate in Diabetes Management from the MV Diabetic Centre, Chennai.
Dr Hari Kishan has a keen interest in infectious diseases and public health, particularly in the early diagnosis and treatment of life-threatening yet treatable conditions like scrub typhus. His contributions to a prospective study on rickettsial infections at CMC, Vellore, led to the dissemination of critical findings to state health authorities, directly influencing public health policy and saving lives. Passionate about medical education, Dr Hari Kishan continues to engage in teaching and research, alongside his clinical responsibilities. His clinical interests include internal medicine, infectious diseases, HIV care, diabetes management, and obstetric medicine.
